| Be sure to prepare for the lessons. You will study while writing in the textbook but also prepare a notebook. Also, prepare a file to keep a record of the works you wrote. Please be sure to bring an English-Japanese, Japanese-English, or English-English dictionary. When writing an essay, an electronic dictionary is not useful because it refers to many example sentences. Aim for Writing Level 7 (160-180 / 200) of the TOEIC Speaking & Writing Test. |

| As for the evaluation, the main score is from in-class tasks as well as quiz scores and class participation are combined for a comprehensive evaluation. Assignments/reports 40%, regular quizzes and other tests 40%, class participation 20%. |
