＜内容の要約＞
英語ライティングにおいて重要であるパラグラフやエッセイを数多く書くことで、英語の論理展開を学ぶとともに、トピックや論理展開に関連した文法・語彙・言い回しも学習する。授業は説明を少なくし、多様なタスクに取り組んだり、ペアやグループでの話し合いで問題を解決したりすることで共に学ぶ。

＜学習目標＞
20分間で200語の論理的なエッセーを書き、口頭で相手に分かりやすく発表することができる。
英語表現に欠かすことができない語彙力を増やすことができる。
聞き手や読み手を意識した文章を構成することができる。

Chapter 8 Movie review (1) Describing the characters, actors, plot, and message of a movie
Chapter 8 Movie review (2) Developing ideas into two paragraphs and ending the second paragraph with a general conclusion
Chapter 9 Friendship (1) Strengthening opinions by supporting sentences
Chapter 9 Friendship (2) Combinig sentences with conjunctions
Chapter 10 Superhero powers (1) Connecting problems logically with imaginary solutions
Chapter 10 Superhero powers (2) Writing about situations that are not real
Chaptet 11 Advertisements (1) Catching the reader's attention in the first few lines of a paragraph and ending the paragraph with a recommendation to the buyer
Chapter 11 Advertisements (2) Writng the first paragraph with a testimonial from someone who has used the product and the second paragraph describing what the product is and what it can do

準備学習の内容・学ぶ上での注意

指示にしたがって予習をして授業に参加してください。教科書に書き込みながら学習しますが、ノートを用意してください。また、ワークシートや自分が書いた作品を綴るためのファイルを用意してください。英和辞典と和英辞典を用意し、できるだけ多くの例文を参照してください。TOEIC　Speaking & Writing テストのWritingレベル７(140～160/200)を目指します。
