<内容の要約>
Reading and writing are fundamental for the improvement of our communicational skills. Integrating new concepts and new ways of thinking is crucial for our self-development regardless of our age. The chosen reading material will introduce us to the world of consilience (unity of knowledge), where we will be crossing the boundaries between science and humanities. Discoveries will bring us together to analyze and discuss their meaning. We will develop and strengthen our personal opinion and our flexibility to listen and incorporate other people’s thoughts and ideas.

Read and enjoy base content material from different fields of knowledge.
Use strategies to understand the meaning before using a dictionary.
Discuss and exchange ideas about the material and its applications.
Work individually and in groups.
Be ready to formulate and answer questions.

準備学習の内容・学ぶ上での注意
Students will be actively involved during class by stating their ideas. Students must formulate and answer questions about the reading topics to and from their classmates. Understand the importance and the application of new knowledge. Use of English Language dictionary rather than Japanese/English dictionary. Write short essays.
