Understanding sentences by focusing on meaning rather than analyzing individual words. Special emphasis will be placed on writing as a way of practicing sequencing and directionality. We will use the teacher’s personal library as well as the Tokay Campus’s library for books, journals, newspapers, magazines, and other English written material for native speakers. Internet news articles, songs, and lectures of interest. Students will use mind maps to learn and use new vocabulary. The use of cell phones is not allowed, except for class-related research. |
