The integration of new concepts as well as new ways of thinking is crucial for our self-development regardless of our age. The chosen reading material will introduce us to the world of "Consilience" (unity of knowledge), where we will be crossing the boundaries between science and humanities. Our new discoveries will bring us together to analyze and discuss their meaning. Students will develop and strengthen their personal opinion as well as their flexibility to listen and incorporate other people’s thoughts and ideas ＜学習目標＞ Reading and enjoying base content material from different fields of knowledge Use strategies to guess meaning before consulting a dictionary Discuss and exchange ideas about the material and its applications Work individually and in groups Be ready to formulate and answer questions |
