<内容の要約>
Students will examine current issues in the news and develop critical thinking skills to analyze, share and present ideas. Through reading and discussing news articles across a variety of themes, students should expect to increase their vocabulary and reading comprehension skills as well as speaking and presentation skills.

準備学習の内容・学ぶ上での注意
Students are expected to attend every class. News articles and vocabulary should be previewed before each class. Class participation is expected and will be a part of the final grade. Students will be expected to form and express their own opinions. Students will be expected to participate in group work and present in front of the class.
