| 準備学習の内容・学ぶ上での注意 |

Students must participate in class discussion. They will be asked to deliver presentations in English in class. At the end of the course in both semesters they must make a presentation on their own themed topic. They will have time to do this in class, but will also be required to do preparation on their own at home. Regular attendance is a must. Because students build their ability to talk on a variety of topics and need to familiarize themselves with the themes and vocab we cover. Also, they must increase their vocabulary, so dictionaries and note taking are encouraged. |

| 成績評価の方法 |

|
Students are graded on class participation and on their final original PowerPoint presentations each semester. There is no emphasis on a written test. The main assessment is how well students improve their English through the course. |
