Theme：LETS TALK
This class aims to increase the English conversation ability of the freshmen In day-to-day activities. In order to achieve this goal we will practice reading and writing selected topics with emphasis on increasing speaking and listening abilities In homely atmosphere.
Objective：
1. Self introduction.
2. Introducing or speaking about ones hometown, hobbies, family, friends, etc.
3. Reading newspaper columns.
4. Group discussion.
5. Speech In selected occasion e. g., year-end party, new year party, Christmas party, wedding ceremony, etc.
6. Basic conversation for a foreign trip and receiving foreign friends, etc.

学習上の注意点
Attendance and positive participation are desirable, but unnecessary chatting is not permissible.

評価の方法・基準
Attendance 20％；mini test 30％；and year-end exam 50％
